The Senior Developer will be responsible for design and delivery of innovative Data Integration and analytic solutions for Edgematics' clients.

Should be proficient enough in handling complex to medium Data Integration projects by suggesting best practices and methodologies to the customer.

The ideal candidate should be able to quickly grasp business subject matter, work with the associated business data within source systems and within analytical Software platforms, and aid business managers and analysts in finding clear approaches to help them provide a viable solution for Data Management Issues.

 
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration processes using Talend.
  • Collaborate with business users, analyze user requirements, translate & apply business rules to data transformations
  • Lead and mentor junior developers in information integration standards, best practices, etc.
  • Create functional & technical documentation – e.g. data integration architecture flows, source to target mappings, test plans
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence work experience required
  • Extensive experience with one or more data integration tools mainly Talend and preferably Informatica, SSIS
  • Advanced knowledge of ETL, including the ability to read and write efficient, robust code, follow or implement best practices and coding standards, design/implement common ETL strategies (CDC, SCD, etc.), and create reusable/maintainable jobs
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written/oral communication and presentation/interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Readiness to travel abroad for short term and long term assignments.
 
Preferred experience also includes:
  • In depth knowledge of ETL Architecture and Administration (e.g. advanced performance tuning, distributed processing, etc.)
  • Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, QlikView, MicroStrategy, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures, triggers, analytic/windowing functions, and tuning.
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices
The Business Intelligence and Analytic Lead Consultant is responsible for the design and delivery of innovative BI and analytic solutions for Edgematics' clients.The candidate should have the ability to handle a team of 10-15 consultants in an onsite offshore model by guiding them on technical deliverable and must have ability to co-ordinate with customers as well.

The ideal candidate should be able to quickly grasp business subject matter, work with the associated business data within source systems and within analytical Software platforms, and aid business managers and analysts in finding clear approaches to analyze their business data in a consultative environment.

 
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define innovative analytic for a wide variety of business topics and industries, while applying best practices in data visualization and manipulation.
  • Ability to handle and manage a team of BI consultants for end to end project implementation.
  • Ability to handle POC/RFP/RFI independently and provide demo to the customer.
  • Ability to perform requirement gathering and preparing all necessary documentation for engagement.
  • Gather and prepare data to support analytics from a variety of data source types including databases, flat files, external sources, etc. as necessary
  • Conduct and lead client white-boarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings as needed, playing a key role in client relations
  • Produce analytic using various analytics software (Tableau, QlikView, Excel, Spotfire, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Produce documentation to aid both users of analytics and administrators of the software and database platforms related to the analytics produced
  • Work closely with clients in both IT and business, with an understanding and sensitivity toward of the diverse needs of each group
  • Should be able to provide and suggest customer with Best Practices methodology.
 
Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing business analytic with team leading capability.

  • Understanding of Business Intelligence patterns (standard data modelling approaches, OLAP platforms, approaches to data presentation and consumption)
  • Expert-level proficiency with analytic development using common tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Excel/PowerPivot, Spotfire, Microstrategy, etc.)
  • Understanding of AGILE project approaches and methodologies
  • Consulting experience; experience estimating level of effort for analytics and data work, creating proposals, and managing workload
  • Demonstrated passion for analytics/BI and the ability to communicate its value as a strategic business advantage
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and analytics techniques
  • Outstanding communication skills (both in presentation and comprehension) along with the aptitude for thought leadership in analytics
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Identify, generate, propose and close sales opportunities for Edgematics’ product and service (Tableau Business Unit) solutions over the phone, face to face selling and participating in marketing sales events. Achieve the required quantity and quality of outbound calls to prospects to qualify and convert enough new business to meet a monthly quota.
  • Generate sales by cold/warm calling current and prospective customers.
  • Provide pricing, proposals and take orders over the phone and through email. Utilize phone, email and web tools to communicate and present company offerings.
  • Answer/respond to customers inbound questions Maintain Insightly(CRM) with accurate data Work in team environment with the Direct and Channel sales organization.
  • To meet and/or exceed individual product and services revenue quota Effectively build and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue Weekly forecasting using the Customer Centric Selling methodology.
